BIP.Verco’s Andrew Todd and Oliver Brown join the Renewable Thermal Collaborative to launch the Heat Pump Decision Support Tools Version 2.0

BIP.Verco is pleased to help the Renewable Thermal Collaborative (RTC) develop Heat Pump Decision Support Tools that help users identify, evaluate and act on opportunities to deploy industrial heat pumps.

In an webinar launching Version 2.0 of these tools, BIP.Verco’s Andrew Todd and Oliver Brown explored the new features.

Oliver told us: 'I'm very excited to be discussing the series of tools we've been creating in association with the RTC. This next iteration of tools were inspired by user feedback and look to address new challenges with heat pump projects. It has been particularly exciting working on a project that involves collaboration between heat pump suppliers as well as end users.'

The Heat Pump Decision Support Tools are a series of freely available, spreadsheet-based resources that focus on the deployment of industrial heat pumps.

During the webinar, Andrew and Oliver delved into the recent additions to the tools, including:

  • simplified feasibility calculation for rapid opportunity assessments;
  • improved functionality for heat pumps connected to industrial refrigeration systems;
  • updated case study and supplier databases; and
  • streamlined documentation.

HEINEKEN’s Nuria Navarrete shared practical insights on how the tools can support project implementation. She drew on her own experience with industrial heat pumps.
